There was interest at our MCC meeting tonight about knowing the current Government Czars. Listed below will hopefully give some ideas of how out of control the new government Czars have become. Ken

Here is a list of Obama’s current and prospective Czar positions:

1. Technology Czar: Aneesh Chopra.
2. Drug Czar: Gil Kerlikowske.
3. Copyright Czar: Not appointed yet.
4. Energy Czar: Carol M. Browner.
5. Car Czar: Ed Montgomery.
6. Terrorism/WMD Czar: Gary Samore.
7. Health Care Czar: Nancy-Ann DeParle.
8. Education Czar: Not appointed yet.
9. Economic Czar: Paul Volcker.
10. Mortgage Czar: Not appointed yet.
11. Urban Affairs/Housing Czar: Adolfo Carrion.
12. Guantanomo closure Czar: Danny Fried.
13. Great lakes Czar: Cameron Davis.
14. Stimulus accountability Czar: Earl Devaney.
15. Cyberspace Czar: Not appointed yet.
16. Border Czar: Alan Bersin (Former US attorney).
17. Intelligence Czar: Admiral Dennis Blair.
18. Regulatory Czar: Cass Sunstein.
19. Pay Czar: Kenneth Feinberg.
20. Iran Czar: Not appointed yet.
21. Tarp Czar: Herb Allison.
22. Middle-East peace Czar: George Mitchell.
23. Science Czar: John Holdren.
24. Green jobs Czar: Van Jones.
25. Afghanistan Czar: Richard Holbrooke.
26. Sudan Czar: J. Scott Gration.
27. Mideast policy Czar: Dennis Ross.
28. Information Czar: Vivek Kundra.
29. AIDS Czar: Jeffrey Crowley.
30. Faith-based Czar: Joshua Dubois.
31. Climate Czar: Todd Stern .

With all the Czars that Mr. Obama has placed in his adminstration is similar to what the old USSR did. There are 3 definitions of a czar the first one is a an emperor or king; the former emperor of Russia; an autocratic ruler or leader; and the final one any person exercising great authority or power in a particular field. The thing that doesn't make sense is if he wants a open government like he said during the campaign why does he need czars? Did our founding fathers want people to have czars in Washington? No they didn't they wanted a system of checks and balances not people who weren't accountable. This is another sign of Obama trying to get rid of freedom and liberty.

If this doesn't make you sick then we're hopeless. Education czar? We already have a Secretary of Education! These czars make $179,000 per year and have a staff of 10 people! per the AP

Take a good look at the government structures of Iran and China alongside Russia. There is a supreme leader who then has a "guardian" council of unelected officials. Then there is a public leader (president) and an electected assembly whose candidacy has to be approved by the supreme leader. Obama is our self appointed leader whom many beleive is the Messiah. Once the Demo traitors have overwhelemd us with all of these insidious changes the next logical step is to change the constitution and take over the judicial system. Impossible? What we see happening to day was called "impossible" just a few years ago.

Absolutely ridiculous. This is clearly Obama trying to take away our freedom. Back when Nixon started using the Energy Czar he had good intentions as did Bush when he put in place the Manufacturing Czar and the other 9 that he added. But now we have a Sudan Czar and an Afghanistan Czar, why do we need that. I'll tell you why, to turn this country into a communist state, that's why!

Barack Hussein Obama has several agendas in mind. One is to be the Emperor or King of the United States(such as Saddam Hussein was in Iraq) and his second is to be another Adolph Hitler. In his opinion and mind, he WILL rule and we the people of the United States WILL bow to him and his appointees! In less than 9 months in office Obama has caused more debt and lack of respect for the United States than can ever possibly be imagined. Think about it........

There are no Czars in the U.S. Government. The term was first coined by Nixon, and later used by the media in leiu of the long title names for government officials. You are all being paranoid.

And YOU (Anonymous on September 10, 2009 @ 3:03PM) are being a liberal IDIOT!

Replace the word 'czar' with 'top adviser'.

That's what these positions are. Top adviser to _____. These advisers DO NOT hold any executive/administrative power. They are prominent, knowledgeable people selected from their fields of expertise to provide information and guidance to the President (before the administration chooses a direction).

A President's job is to lead and make decisions. He's certainly not an expert in all of these fields. (No one could be.)

Would you rather just wing-it, or would you want to know the important details and potential outcomes before making a tough decision? When you go to the doctor and have a choice of surgery or medication, do you just choose, or do you ask about the risks, side effects, costs, potential success, etc?

In a successful company, a good CEO surrounds himself with people who are smarter than he is in their areas of expertise. The CEO focuses on the big picture, and uses this guidance and information to make decisions and steer the company in the right direction.

Whether or not they are the 'best' decisions is not what I am arguing here. Only that they are advisers. Period. Not decision-makers.

conservs are really eFFing morons, aren't you? Your president Nixon came up with the first czar, your party has relied on them much more than the Dems. I think that you really are stupid people. I am sorry to say it, but you are. It is okay to do ANYTHING when it comes to cheney and bush, the two greatest criminals in American history, but you jump on STUPID things with Obama.

Frankly, we ALL know why. I grew up in a conservative environment and you people are racists through and through.

YOu are 1-stupid and 2-hateful..I used to be a Repub, had to change because all you did was concentrate and hate Clinton. I couldn't stand the negativity and I still find you repugnant.

Hmmm...leave it to conservatives to be the most paranoid and misinformed people in this country. Well done, folks.

I find almost all of you "Lefties & Righties" repugnant. While my view leen more towards conservativism, all the bickering and finger pointing is childish. Yes I feel our Freedom is constantly being chipped away at. Too many people think that it is the governments responsibility to provide them economic and/or medical security. It is NOT. The Liberals do not care that "someone" has to pay for it, because they blank out who that "someone" is. As long as that "someone" isn't themselves. The conservatives on the other hand don't fix things, they just screw with them. Politics is so rife with favors it makes me sick. Yes we are going to hell in a hand basket and neither side has answers!
